BREAKING: Whoopi Goldberg was forced to stop The View co-hosts’ heated argument over Kamala Harris’ election loss. She had to…see more

Whoopi Goldberg put an end to a heated argument between her co-hosts Sunny Hostin and Alyssa Farah Griffin, over Kamala Harris’ loss during Thursday’s episode of The View.

The Ghost star, 68 – who still refuses to say Donald Trump’s name after his election victory on Tuesday – could be seen making attempts to cool down the fight during the topic of discussion.

At one point, the hosts were talking about the decision of voters to elect Trump over Harris, including the economy.

Griffin – who revealed she voted for Kamala despite being a former Trump aid – also stated, ‘This issue of abortion, which I hope we can unpack more, there are a lot of women who cared about abortion.

‘But they were in states like Pennsylvania where they don’t have an ultra-restrictive abortion law. They were voting more because pocket book issues matter more than if a woman in Alabama is able to get an abortion.’

Hostin then interrupted Alyssa to say, ‘But they’re going to do worse under a Trump administration…’

Griffin quickly continued her point by adding, ‘And finally, we talk a lot about these different demographics and these different assumptions of where they are going to go.’

She explained that Latino voters in a Texas district ‘that’s 97% Latino went 75% for Donald Trump. Why?’

Sunny cut in once again to say, ‘Misogyny,’ to which Alyssa responded with, ‘No, it’s on the border!’

‘The border crisis is on their doorstep, and they were begging people to care about it for years,’ Griffin continued to tell her fellow hosts, including Hostin, Goldberg, Joy Behar and also Sara Haines.

Whoopi began to try to clam down the argument by interrupting with her own thoughts but was silenced when Sunny added, ‘It’s misogyny and sexism.’

Alyssa immediately disagreed with Hostin and said while tossing her arms up, ‘The lessons are not misogyny and sexism!’

Goldberg quickly tried intervening once again and said more loudly, ‘Knock, knock, who’s there? Oh my gosh, it’s Whoopi!’

Griffin apologized to Whoopi while both she and Hostin put an end to the arguing at the table.

The Sister Act actress then shared her own thoughts by stating, ‘The only thing I want to point out, people did what they did and they will reap whatever benefits they’re going to get.’

‘However, let’s talk about the real stuff: Your pocketbook is bad, not because the Bidens did anything.’

‘Not because the economy is bad. Your grocery bills are what they are because the folks that own the groceries are pigs,’ she continued.

The heated argument on The View comes as Goldberg still refuses to say Donald Trump’s name after his presidential election victory – which her co-host has blamed on ‘uneducated white women.’

Whoopi has refused to say Trump’s name on The View since he first took office in 2016 and made clear on the talk show yesterday ‘that’s not going to change.’

Discussing the election results with her co-hosts, Goldberg expressed her disappointment that ‘people didn’t come out’ to vote for Kamala Harris.

But Sunny Hostin, who said she was ‘profoundly disturbed’ by the election outcome, argued the Democrat ran a ‘flawless campaign’ and claimed Trump’s victory was a ‘referendum on cultural resentment’ in the US.

She then blamed ‘uneducated white women’ and ‘Latino men’ for his victory, claiming they voted in favor of policies that will negatively impact them.

The View hosts, with the exception of Goldberg, dressed for a funeral on Wednesday following the election as they discussed their disappointment in the results.

Goldberg, who expressed her admiration for Harris and her campaign, shared how she wanted people to turn up to the polls.

‘We said to people ‘vote’, we didn’t tell them who to vote for,’ she told her co-hosts. ‘I didn’t tell people [who to vote for] because I wanted people to exercise that right. Too many people that I know died trying to vote.’

Goldberg hailed Harris for rallying supporters and launching a wide-reaching campaign in a period of just ‘two months.’

‘She was everywhere. She talked to everybody and people didn’t come out, I don’t know why and it doesn’t even matter. He’s now the President. I’m still not going to say his name. That’s not going to change.’

Goldberg in 2018 admitted that she never says Trump’s name, telling CNN’s The Axe Files that she ‘can’t’ bear to say it or call him ‘President.’

But Hostin took her frustration one step further, placing the blame on white women and Latino men.

‘I think [Trump’s victory] had nothing to do with policy, I think this was a referendum on cultural resentment in this country,’ she told the show.

‘Black women tried to save this country again, last night… what we do not have is white women, who voted about 52 per cent for Donald Trump – uneducated white women is my understanding. You have Latino men actually, voting more for him.’

She then asked ABC political news director Rick Klein: ‘So why do you think uneducated white women voting against their reproductive health freedoms, and why do you think Latino men voted in favor of someone who is going to deport a majority of his community?’

But co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin, also sporting an all black attire, shot back saying, ‘I don’t think white women like being called uneducated white women.’
