The nearly 700 million won that Kim Sae Ron owes her former management company is not compensation from her drunk driving accident.
Recently, Sports Kyunghang exclusively reported on the late actress Kim Sae Ron. The information mentioned the compensation of nearly 700 million won (about 12 billion VND) which put her in a deadlock.
According to the agreement between Gold Medalist (management company founded by Kim Soo Hyun) and Kim Sae Ron on November 22, 2022, the amount the actress still owes is 686.64 million won (about 12 billion VND).
The company asked the late actress to make the payment by December 31, 2023. At the same time, the company will handle the sale of her Range Rover Defender.
On March 15, 2023, Gold Medalist authorized the law firm LKB & Partners to send a written request for payment of the debt. If payment is not made, they will take legal action against the actress.
On March 24, 2023, Kim Sae Ron texted Kim Soo Hyun for help, asking for more time to gradually pay off the debt, but Kim Soo Hyun did not respond.
Sports Kyunghang confirmed that the amount that Gold Medalist asked Kim Sae Ron to pay was said to be compensation for the actress’s drunk driving accident. However, in reality, this was contract compensation related to the production costs of the movie “Hunting Dogs”.
The compensation for the drunk driving accident was already paid off by Kim Sae Ron herself through her own efforts.
“Hunting Dogs” is a film directed by Kim Joo Hwan, originally starring Kim Sae Ron. After a drunk driving accident, her appearance in the film was cut. The film was released in June 2023.
